In a gas station , coffee is drunk, sugar is refuelled, toilet is used, a car is repaired, gasoline is tapped and one is driven off again. Basic needs and the global circulation of goods meet here just as much as human actions and electromechanics, travel fantasies and fossil energy. Staff and customers fulfil their functions; everyday life repeats itself over and over. In this post-human ecosystem, music and attention have to be reinvented. From unimagined sound symbiose, a radically organic chorale may reverberate, celebrating our common life and its fragility.

Our piece is a kind of collage work, a compilation that seeks to pay due tribute to the great mystery and the great power that is life. Without necessarily falling into the narrative of a simple critique of capitalism, this musical event is intended to make it possible, by showing other ways of being alive, even in inhospitable places, to overcome this self-forgetfulness and open up to new perspectives.
